- Use a Suppressor on your weapon
- Use the Basic Armor, and/or the upgraded Basic Armor
- Get a foregrip and/or a bipod (Bipod suggested)
- (Optional) Place Anti-Personnel Mines around you when stationary, this will prevent you from getting knifed or found out. (If incapacitated it might prevent you from getting "teabagged")
- If acting as Marksman (you run with your squad, not stay behind) get the Tier 1 Sniper Rifle
- Get some decent camouflage on and get a helmet that is camouflaged (if available)
- I recommend getting an Acoustic Locator and if possible a Motion Sensor
- Get either a PDW (with a silencer of you want) or a (silenced) Pistol as your sidearm
